Normand Village
20th-century French School oil on wood panel signed Cyprien Le Vavasseur (1866-1924) in the lower right and dated 1909 with a Galerie de Marly stamp on the back. The work has a little texture to the touch.
View of a path before a village with varied brushstroke volumes and a varnished effect. The luminosity is lively and relies on an authentic but sparkling palette. The shadows and the gradients of color along the path and houses create real depth to the view.
