The largest piece in this brocante collection, the rustic table painting is an impressive composition of just a few objects: potatoes spilling out of a basket, a cast iron pot or bale, and what appear to be red beets in a pottery bowl. The muted brown background creates a particularly "organic" feel to this country French painting. The wooden frame, with its chippy edges completes the French farmhouse feel.
