La Normandie

20th-century French School oil painting on canvas signed René Berges (19th-20th century). The work has a little texture to the touch.

This is one of the larger oil paintings in this collection, featuring a rich Normandy landscape and village. We see the sunlit path leading into town along a wall, with a cow grazing in the field in front of the village, and a church in the background.

The painting is in excellent condition and the colors are rich and vibrant. An exceptionally lovely and peaceful artwork.
