A gorgeous late 19th-century landscape on canvas. This impressionist painting possesses colors and textures that are uncommonly light and ethereal. The sky has lavender and baby pink and blue hues, that permeate the horizon. The foliage in the foreground looks almost like pastel, it is worked so softly with imprecise brush strokes, creating a matte effect.

While there is no signature visible, we believe the piece is from the mid or late 1800's, due to its materials, and the original frame. The overall is a significant and impressive piece from one of France's best artistic periods.
