Les Vagues

Vintage Art and French Decor: Oil painting on canvas from the late XXth century French School. This is an unsigned impressionist seaside with a heavy low sky, reminiscent of the south of France.

The canvas has a great deal of heavily applied paint, and a very beautiful natural light illuminates this seaside landscape. We feel the movement in the waves and the trees and there is a marked depth.
