Le Morbihan

A 20th Century French School oil painting on wood signed Proust for Louis Proust (1877-1944) The work has a little texture to the touch.

A vertical landscape in a medium format, with dreamy turquoise blue and sea glass colors. The brushstrokes, blurry movement and use of light coming up over the hills, and lighting the water give us the impression of dawn. 

The wood has some marks and indentations from age, but is overall in great condition.

• Condition: The surface of the painting on wood has some marks and indentations from time, but is overall in good condition. The more contemporary frame has some chips missing, but matches the painting. There are some holes ont eh back of the wood, which have been treated.
