A south of France landscape, in vertical format, this painting shows the red roofs and white walls that are distinct to the coastal regions along the Riviera. Lush hills descend into rocky shores and we imagine the sunbathers and resting swimmers along the rock outcroppings.

This painting is most likely mid-century and could be left as in propped on a shelf, or framed and hung. No signature.
