A small-scale oil painting (a little larger than a postcard) that has brown and moody colors to show a figure walking along a small river, with a little boat in the background and the outline of a town. 

The painting is truly brocante style, with marks on the surface, slightly rounded corners, and the marks of a frame that was removed along the outer edges.
