Our Favorite Paris Antiques Markets
One of the most common requests I receive is asking for our favorite (year round) Paris antiques market, so here's a quick cheat sheet for our top three choices so you can experience the best of Parisian antiquing.
- Saint-Ouen Flea Market (Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen): One of the largest and most famous antique markets in the world, located in the north of Paris. This market consists of several smaller markets, such as Marché Vernaison, Marché Biron, and Marché Paul Bert Serpette, each offering unique treasures and a distinct atmosphere.
Address: Avenue de la Porte de Clignancourt, 93400 Saint-Ouen Opening Hours: Saturday 9am-6pm, Sunday 10am-6pm, Monday 11am-5pm
- Aligre Market (Marché d'Aligre): This vibrant market in the 12th arrondissement offers a mix of fresh produce, second-hand clothes, and antiques. While not exclusively an antique market, you can often find some great vintage items and collectibles amidst the lively atmosphere. It's also a perfect stopover for lunch at one of the many sweet bistros nearby!
Address: Place d'Aligre, 75012 Paris Opening Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 7:30am-1:30pm, Sunday 7:30am-2pm
- Vanves Flea Market (Marché aux Puces de la Porte de Vanves): A smaller market compared to Saint-Ouen, but still filled with antique treasures. Located in the south of Paris, Vanves offers an authentic flea market experience with a wide variety of vintage clothing, furniture, and other collectibles.
Address: Avenue Georges Lafenestre & Avenue Marc Sangnier, 75014 Paris Opening Hours: Saturday & Sunday 7am-2pm
I hope this information helps you plan your visits to these wonderful antiques markets!
