Rivière Argentée
$490.00
This 19th-century French School oil painting on carton board, attributed to Charles Berges (1851-1941), is not part of the Tremblay workshop collection.
This is the largest painting in this atelier collection and a great medium-sized artwork. It would look lovely in a frame, or unframed against a wall or on shelves. The piece was created with quick brushstrokes, enhancing the emotion and the sense of rain passing across the landscape. The river flows in the foreground and extends into a more abstract distance.
