20th-century French school oil on carton. The work is smooth to the touch.

A lovely vertical small-medium sized oil painting. The forest scene, and the path that we see disappearing into the thicket of trees, is created with quick small brush strokes. This effect creates a sense of abundance and richness in the environment.

The condition of the piece is very good. The frame itself is not an original antique. There is a small gap between the painting and the frame, which is barely noticeable from the front of the piece. This painting would be lovely as part of a landscape wall or as a standalone piece.
