A lovely still life on a wooden panel, monogrammed L.D. in the top right corner and dated 1888. The composition reveals some delightful details, such as the ornamentation inside the bowl, the pearly white knife resting below, and the sculpted leg of the table, barely visible. But the glistening peaches take center stage, their light seeming to illuminate the entire scene.

The frame is more modern, but its naturally aged appearance blends beautifully with the elements of the artwork
