Sky View

20th-century French School oil painting on wood signed G. Dubois (19th-20th century) and dated 1906. The work is mostly smooth to the touch, with some textured areas.

This small landscape painting, with the most vibrant sky, was sourced in Nice. The painting has a plethora of colors, from the lightest pinks, blues and lavenders of the sky, to stunning greens in the foreground. The painting has also been remarkably preserved for its age, and protected with a varnish, creating an incredibly rich example of what the painting would have looked like over 100 years ago.

The painting is in excellent condition, as is the frame, although the frame is not an original antique and is contemporary.
