20th-century French School oil on canvas. The work is mostly smooth to the touch, with some textured areas.

A lovely oil painting on canvas featuring bright colors, such as the blue in the sky, which have darkened beautifully with time. The landscape depicts the steeples of a chateau in the distance, surrounded by country homes.

The painting is in quite good condition. While the surface has darkened with age and shows some waxy smudge marks from humidity, it is overall well-preserved. The frame is contemporary rather than original and has a few spots where paint is missing.
