20th century Belgian school oil on carton signed in the lower right Nubourgh Y? The work has a substantial texture to the touch.

A rich and dynamic painting, with so much paint volume, that the snow seems to emerge from the painting. The entirely muted colors here, represent a minimalism and stark style. Upon close inspection, you can see the work that was rendered, almost like a sculpture, to bring all these textures and colors into harmony.

The painting is in good condition for its age. Some tiny hairline cracks are visible, but the whole is excellent. The vintage frame is well-secured and creates a shadow box effect.
