Côte Basque

This is the second landscape on cardboard depicting the Basque coast, and though unsigned, it is attributed to the same artist, Dangoumau (20th century). The composition is tighter, with textured waves and foam. The sense of the horizon is well conveyed, and the palette is bright and luminous.

• Condition: The piece has a few small stains, but its overall condition is good. The frame has several areas of missing gilding and some damage to the corners.
